Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address and mobile number. If you are a candidate we also store what you choose to add to your profile: photo, date of birth, location, work history, education, skills, certifications, projects, salary expectations and your resume file. If you are a recruiter we store your company details and the jobs you post.

2. How we use it

We use your information to run the service: to show your applications to the employers you apply to, to let recruiters find candidate profiles that match their openings, to send you notifications about your applications and interviews, and to keep the platform secure.

3. Who sees your profile

When you apply for a job, the recruiter for that job sees your profile, your application and the resume you submitted. Recruiters can also search candidate profiles. You can remove yourself from that search at any time by turning off "Allow recruiters to find my profile" in your profile settings.

4. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is open. If you delete your account, your profile and resume are removed from candidate search; applications already sent to employers may be retained by those employers under their own record-keeping obligations.

5. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Uploads are restricted by file type and size. Access to admin functions is limited to authorised staff accounts. Administrative and account actions are recorded in an activity log.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.

7. Your choices

You can edit or delete any part of your profile, replace or remove your resume, and opt out of candidate search at any time. To request deletion of your account, contact us through the contact page.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Apki Naukri after a change means you accept the updated policy.
